How to configure your PayPal account into Ettend
How It Works
When your attendee registers a ticket there are 2 steps:
Step 1
An attendee selects what tickets they would like to regsiter/
purchase and proceed to the registration form on Ettend. This
custom form collects and saves the attendee information which is
then available in your Ettend account.
Step 2
After clicking the PayPal buy button (button here), they are
directed securely to PayPal. We send your PayPal email address to
PayPal to process the order. This allows you to instantly collect
the money within your own PayPal account. Once the purchase is
completed, the attendee is directed back to your event website on
Ettend.
Setting up PayPal & Ettend
It's easy to set up. Follow the steps below to get started:
Step 1
Enter in your PayPal email address to send and request money. Note:
you will need a premier/ business PayPal account.

Step 2
Configure your PayPal account so Ettend can receive notifications
(this keeps your Ettend account in sync with your PayPal
account).
- Under your PayPal account (My Account -> Profile -> Under "Selling Preferences" select " Instant Payment Notification Preferences")

Please edit the following items:
- Click "Edit IPN Settings"

Copy and paste this URL:
https://www.ettend.com/paypalcheckout into the "Notification URL" field -
Select "Receive IPN messages (Enabled)"

Click "Save"

That's it, your done!
We recommend testing your PayPal account by creating a ticket for $1.00 and completing the registration process like your attendees would.
